Individuals and organizations may apply to CNF for grants for educational
and scientific activities and community based projects. Examples
of projects which have received grant funding from CNF include research
on smoking cessation, development of educational materials about
the role of Advanced Practice Nurses, and support for purchase of
educational materials for at-risk teens at a crisis center. CNF also
considers requests to utilize our 501( c )(3) status to apply for
grants from other funding sources. The Nursing Heritage Project in
Colorado Springs is a recent beneficiary of this program.
